About Me

I am Ashwin and this blog is currently maintained by me.  I am based out of Bangalore and work full-time for a technology firm.  I am passionate about Technology - not just working with it but also to write about it.  My other passions include Reading books particularly on People, Business & Marketing, Driving long distances on my car, Blogging on Technology and other topics that come to my mind, Traveling and Spending time with my family. I am also passionate about languages. I am working on my French skills and currently at a beginner level.

Professionally I am an aspiring Technical Architect and fairly conversant with Enterprise Java Technologies.  Other technologies that I am aware include PHP and Ruby on Rails.  Among my interest areas are Enterprise Applications Design, Data Mining, Algorithms and Natural Language Processing.  Recently I am obsessed with Mobile Technologies, especially on the Application front, thanks to my work.  Occasionally I do some freelancing on Software Application Development and Writing, but most of the times my work keeps me busy.

I love to network with people around the world, so feel free to connect with me.  Thanks for being here.

About the Blog

I have been blogging for the past 2 years.  I started with a blog on Wordpress and later migrated it into a self-hosted one.  Initially, it started as a fun and later I was obsessed into blogging.  Right now, I blog part time and publish about 6-10 posts per week, on an average.  In addition to this, I am a fervent reader of blogs and news sites around and spend a good amount of time with Google Reader/Feedly everday.

Technology is the primary topic of this blog.  But I do chip in with some posts on Books, Music, Philosophy, Business & Marketing.  If you find this blog interesting, feel free to subscribe in a RSS Reader of your choice using the following links:
